MANAGEMENT TEAM

The Snowfish management team delivers solid experience in a variety of areas. Prior to coming to Snowfish, our healthcare team members have held top management positions have also provided hands-on care (in a multitude of settings), written prescriptions, conducted clinical trials and developed successful educational and marketing programs for an array of healthcare audiences including physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, pharmacists and administrators, representing a number of specialties. This extensive experience allows us to be up to speed on issues and disease states.

David Fishman, President

David has more than twenty years of business consulting and marketing experience. He has been responsible for launching 5 different national brands with revenue in excess of $1 billion. David is a seasoned executive with experience in the entire business mix: advertising, public relations, product development, pricing, marketing research, affinity programs, strategy, corporate and product branding and channel development.

He has worked with industry leaders such as Daiichi-Sankyo, Sanofi-Aventis, Wyeth, and earlier in his career, Citicorp and IBM. He ran marketing for a 300+ person software firm. David’s work for NIC won the 2001 ADDY for the most effective high-technology advertising campaign in the Washington area. David holds an MBA in Marketing/International Business from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He also received a B.A. in Political Science/Economics from the State University of New York at Albany.

Melissa Hammond, MSN, GNP, Managing Director

Melissa has spent her entire career in the healthcare field. A nurse practitioner, Melissa has experience in an array of healthcare arenas ranging from clinical practice (geriatrics, primary care, cardiology, critical care) and academics to medical marketing/communications. Prior to joining Snowfish, LLC she worked directly with some of the leading pharmaceutical companies, such as Schering-Plough, GSK and Pfizer developing cutting-edge medical communications strategies. She was also responsible for managing the content for both promotional and educational programs, and for the creation of the company’s first key opinion leader development initiative.

At the George Washington University, Melissa ran multi-site clinical trials focused on utilizing anti-coagulant and thrombolytic agents in the treatment of ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction. At the Jewish Home, a long-term care facility in the Bronx, NY, she played an integral role in the development and implementation of the first in-house research department. She has been coauthor of many publications and articles, one of which has been referenced in informational material released by the FDA. She holds a Master of Science in Nursing from Columbia University and has completed extensive coursework toward a Master’s in Public Health at the George Washington University.

Steve Donoho, Ph.D., Director of Analytics

Steve has over 15 years experience developing solutions for discovering interesting patterns in large quantities of data. He specializes in link analysis methods that find hidden relationships among people, which is critical to Snowfish’s KOL identification and mapping capability. Steve co-chaired the Link Analysis Worksop at KDD-2003 and wrote a Link Analysis chapter in the Knowledge Discovery Handbook. His experience includes financial services and healthcare analytics. He is the inventor on seven patent applications. He received his Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of Illinois.
